This item has great food clearance. Normally you have an inch or two but you get much more with this cover. The domed shape vents the heat to the center top. I like having a handle instead of trying to grab a super hot cover. Smart purchase.

I use mine everyday and would buy again but the handle does come off when the steam from cooking heats it too much. Just an inconvenience. Still very useful and economical.

Put the handles in the dedicated place and the dome cracked, not just one of them both of them. I was being very careful especially after the first one cracked, but no matter how careful I tried to be sane think.
